Proactive COVID-19 Response
SCOPE
AVETS’ Proactive COVID-19 Response involves the use of cleaning products or disinfecting
chemicals on EPA’s List N. This procedure may be performed under the following conditions:
- Frequent maintenance of surfaces in an occupied building or space. Recommend using
disinfecting chemicals on EPA’s List N. - One time cleaning to remove foreign material prior to disinfection. This cleaning is
generally required in spaces that do not see regular surface cleaning by the normal building
cleaning crew. Examples include vacant offices where cleaning has been temporarily
halted or construction sites where settled dust is heavy. Recommend using standard
cleaning products for this process.
Definitions For the purposes of this disclaimer: “ A Vets”. “Vets Decon”, “We” “Us” or “Our” refers to A Veterans Environmental Technology Services, Inc, 6234 Georgia Avenue N.W. Washington D.C. 20011
1) Decontamination, and Decontaminate only means clean and apply disinfectant and or apply, deploy and or spray and or, fog and or, wipe on and or wipe off, and or HEPA vacuum and or clean High Touch Surfaces and or air with a chemical(s) that are Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) registered disinfectant(s) in accordance with the application directions provided by the master label.
2) Disinfect. only means clean and apply disinfectant and or apply, deploy and or spray and or, fog and or, wipe on and or wipe off, and or HEPA vacuum and or clean High Touch Surfaces and or air with a chemical(s) that are Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) registered disinfectant(s) in accordance with the application directions provided by the master label.
3) You, Customer and Our Customer means the individual accessing the Service, or the company, or other legal Entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as Applicable.

Definitions
Cleaning: The removal of foreign material (e.g. soil and organic material) from objects/surfaces. Cleaning is normally accomplished using water with detergents or enzymatic products.
Disinfection: The elimination of many or all pathogenic microorganisms except bacterial spores on inanimate objects. Disinfection is often more efficacious on surfaces that have been cleaned.
EPA Registered Pesticide: Products that make claims of being a pesticide (including disinfectants) must be registered with EPA. Efficacy claims on product labels must be specific to the EPA registration.
EPA List N: Products on this list meet EPA’s criteria for disinfectants for use against SARS- CoV-2. This list is regularly expanding. Any disinfection related to COVID-19 concerns must use products on this list in the manner specified by the manufacturer for SARS-CoV-2.
Interpretation and Definitions Interpretation The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.
